Our sows are Hamp x Duroc x York crosses. They are all hand tame and pen or hut farrowed depending on the time of the year. We do not use crates and specifically breed for sows that can raise large litters of piglets with few to no losses.

We occasionally have early spring litters of pigs available for fair & 4-H projects. Please contact us to inquire about availability.
We have found that the 3 way cross of our sows, combined with the Berkshire, produces fast growing, good tempered and superbly flavored pork. We typically farrow in the spring and early summer and have a good selection of feeder pigs ready to go to their new homes late spring/summer. Typically our feeder pigs will be finished weights of 250-300# live weight in 6 months.
We grow out a limited number of pastured finished hogs each year. Custom order hogs are $4/# hanging weight. This includes all processing, smoking and packaging. Hogs are processed by Foss Fine Meats in Sparta, Wisconsin, according to your specifications. A $150 deposit is required to reserve a pig. A cuts list will be mailed to you after your hog is reserved. Each hog is a custom order & we would be happy to assist you in making your cuts list. We will contact you with the exact butchering date at least two weeks prior to processing and again with the hanging weight and amount due after processing. Upon payment, you can pick up your pork at Foss'. Typically, hogs are butchered in November.
