Our hand crafted Rosewood / Rosewood & Mother of Pearl Hooks & Needles included in this set are beautiful, decorative & super functional.  The feel of working with Rosewood hooks & needles is a real treat to hands.  Each Rosewood piece is made of the finest Genuine Indian Rosewood. The top whorl drop spindle included in the set is spoked for a one-of- kind of wagon-wheel look - reminiscent of those days on the ol' Bonanza. A unique addtion to any spinner's collection!

The spindle shaft is made of birch, while the whorl is made of ash. The whorl is 3 inches in diameter and the spindle is 3/8 of inch thick and about 12 inches in length. The spindle and whorl are hand rubbed in Danish oil and weigh approximately 1.2 to 1.5 ounces.
